Maryann Grunseth is the Founder of Poppy Strategic Consulting, where she partners with nonprofit leaders to build strong and sustainable fundraising programs. With nearly 15 years of experience across higher education, national nonprofits, and consulting, she brings a practical, results-oriented approach to development strategy and organizational capacity-building.

Prior to launching Poppy Strategic Consulting, Maryann held senior development roles where she secured seven-figure gifts and served as a strategic advisor to nonprofit executives and boards. She began her career as a collegiate coach and Division I rower at George Washington University, where she earned Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference honors, experiences that shape her collaborative approach to consulting today.
